This is a custom adapter designed to replace a faulty Midranger speaker in a Sonos Play 3 Speaker. While this solution is quite specific, it's worth sharing with others who may need it. After modification, the adapter fits perfectly on the Visaton Hifi Full-Range Speaker 8 cm (3.3") 4 Ohm model. To complete the installation, you will also require some self-tapping screws or universal ones; I used DIN7981 3.5 x 9.5mm screws in my setup. Disassembling the speaker is relatively straightforward and can be found on iFixit if needed. The adapter eliminates any vibration issues, allowing the speaker to function seamlessly.
