I reside in the UK and made an unintentional purchase of an EU Sonoff T1 Wifi connected Touch switch. European switch housings seem to be roughly round with some flat surfaces, whereas UK ones are square. As a result, when the EU switch is placed within the UK backbox, it can rotate freely and may even unscrew, revealing the live mains wires. This plate fits snugly over the nearly-round body of the EU switch but also provides a secure fit inside the UK box, thereby preventing the switch from rotating in its housing.
