Sonoff S26 Reprogramming jig

In order that a Sonoff S26 wifi controlled plug can be re programmed with new firmware connections must be made to the little pads on the WiFi board . As this is a mains powered device do not attempt this unless you understand the safety requirement and dangers involved when undertaking this kind of work. The little spring loaded pins ( Pogo connectors ) that I used are P50-B1 0.68mm dia, Length 16mm, 75g Spring Pressure, There are a few tutorials that describe this kind of work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEjJJtWy34k is good I used Tazmotiser to flash the firmware Tasmotizer for PC: https://github.com/tasmota/tasmotizer... Tasmotizer for Mac (thanks to SiyTek): https://siytek.com/download-tasmotize... This thing is an alternative to soldering to the pads though may be a bit hit and miss depending on how well you keep the pins in contact with the pads. The pins that pass through the alignment jig will be lose, either carefully glue them, or as I did, apply heat shrink as an insulation cover on them to fatten them up, that's easier than trying to print tiny holes. Then solder the wires that will connect to the programmer. The end of the jig slips over the end of the circuit board, ensure the pins are landing on the pads before adding power. Follow one of the many on line tutorials.
