After you print it out, you'll need to carefully remove any excess material from the pogo pins and secure them in place using hot glue to prevent short circuits. The jig will fit snugly onto the board, making sure that the pogo pins are properly aligned before powering on the FTDI is crucial. Here's a list of essential parts to complete this project: 6 - P75-E2 Spring Test Probe Pogo Pin 1.3 mm Conical Head 1.0mm (having extras is always a good idea) Female Header 1x40 2.54mm (trimmed down for easy connection from the FTDI to the pogo pins) - hot glue to hold the header/pogo pins firmly in place My journey began with Eric Tsai's Instructables post, where I found inspiration in DIY home automation projects.
