Sonoff basic enclosure
thingiverse
This is an enclosure designed specifically for a Sonoff IoT switch. The enclosure serves as a protective covering for the device while also providing essential cable strain relief when used in conjunction with cable ties and the pre-drilled holes located at the rear of the enclosure. The lid is strategically vented, allowing LED status indicators to be clearly visible through the holes. Additionally, it features a lip that enables secure fastening using countersunk screws or cable ties. The enclosure's spacious design accommodates the device itself as well as an external by-pass earth lead. While this enclosure meets my specific requirements, you may need to opt for a different one suited to your particular application. Remember, electricity can be hazardous, so if you're unsure about any aspect of the setup, seek professional advice immediately. The accompanying photographs depict an earlier version of the enclosure. Notably, I have rounded both the lid and box corners, and the vent holes in the lid are smaller and more numerous than those shown in the image. Printer Settings: - Printer: Anet A8 - Rafts: None - Supports: None - Resolution: 0.2mm - Infill: 25% Notes: I printed this enclosure with either a 0.8mm or 1.2mm wall thickness, both of which proved to be robust enough for my intended use case.
