thingiverse
This project is designed for users who combine Sonoff Basics with regular light switches to create an affordable smart Wi-Fi switch. Watch this video to learn more: https://youtu.be/ab472a40-co?t=369 Essentially, you'll connect your standard light switch to the low-voltage GPIO on the Sonoff, and then the light switch will control the relay on the Sonoff, which in turn controls the lights. I successfully printed out the design and it perfectly fits my Sonoff Basic. Although there are various revisions of this model, I believe it would work with newer versions as well. However, I haven't tested its compatibility with electrical boxes yet, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit. Please take necessary precautions when working with high voltage, and use this project at your own risk. To make it work, I had to trim down the built-in button slightly. Additionally, ensure that the ground wire doesn't cause any short circuits.
