SonicModell F1 Wing Runcam2 Canopy Mount

I designed this custom Runcam2 mount specifically for the SonicModell F1 Wing. The idea is that the camera mount 'tray' gets bolted directly into the stiff foam canopy, then secured by a nut-plate (check out my photos for the intended installation method).\r\n\r\nYou'll need 2 x M3 countersunk-head bolts and two M3 nylocs to lock it down tight.\r\n\r\nI tried to include countersinks in CAD, but since this was a remix, it messed up the polygons and caused errors, so I simply used my drill press to create them on the camera mount itself.\r\n\r\nA couple of steel washers were added between the rear of the mount and the foam to lift it up about two degrees for a slightly more level view. Also note that the canopy removal clip is partially visible in-frame, but I shortened it by about 50% so it will be almost invisible.\r\n\r\nThe camera gets secured to the tray with a velcro strap fed through the slot underneath that I built into the design.\r\n\r\nIt's not perfect, but this custom mount does the job if you need a secure way to attach your Runcam2 to the wing without messing up its center of gravity.
