This design still needs thorough testing before it's considered ready! The baseplate serves as a crucial component in attaching a Feiyou-Tech Mini 3D Pro Gimbal to the Sonicmodell Binary. It provides mounting provisions for a Micro FPV Camera at the front, secured via a metal bracket that typically accompanies these types of cameras. The Baseplate fits snugly into pre-cut rectangular holes and is fastened down using two M3 screws. I repurposed the factory-installed M3 nuts intended for the main landing gear since they're no longer needed. By attaching the Baseplate, mark the corresponding holes, drill two 3.5 mm holes, and secure the nuts in place – a straightforward process! The hole on the Baseplate allows for easy cable passage to maintain clean wiring. Note: The accompanying photo showcases an earlier version without the micro FPV camera mounting provision.
