Sonicmodell AR Wing - Mount for Flysky X6B receiver
thingiverse
I love the FlySky i6X Receiver for its rock-solid reliability and impressive range, along with the option to have 14 channels and a critical RSSI channel when using modded firmware. However, in Planes sometimes it can be a challenge to find a good mount point if you don't have a 30.5mm Flight controller stack and the short antennas. So for my Sonicmodell AR wing I decided to create some simple clips that can be attached to the carbon rod and securely hold the receiver while keeping the nice antenna placement at the sides of the Motor Canopy. It worked perfectly on the first try. Just screw the clips onto the receiver with 2x M2 screws and nuts, then attach it to the 6mm carbon rod. The result is a tight and safe hold, and the antennas have just the right length. To achieve symmetry, simply mirror the part for the second clip. Have fun!
