Soniclean HH-800 handheld vac hose connector replacement
prusaprinters
Someone broke off the ends off the connector on our Costco bonus hand vac and I couldn't order a new hose as it seems the vac is out of production. So… I made a replacement end! Made it to fit right over the old one as it seems the original end is permanently attached to the hose (didn't want to risk damaging the hose!)I removed the o-ring seal from around the base of the old one and put a bead of hot glue in the channel where the o-ring was and slipped the new connector over the old one. Its a snug fit so once it's in place it should stay put unless you apply a bit of force in case it breaks. Put the old o-ring in the channel on the new adapter. that will help keep the adapter from leaking against the end of the vac.If you happen to break the o-ring it's a 33mmOD, 1mm cross-section (amazon has them). Any flavor should do (nitrile, neoprene, etc.) Printing one out of TPU is also an option.Printed mine out of PETG but ABS would probably be better for this. Print with Organic supports / .3mm top contact z distance40% infill
