Sonicare Stand with Waterpik Attachments and Toothpaste Hanger over GFCI
prusaprinters
I made this to clear up some counter space on the bathroom counter. The original design intent was to just move the chargers for the 2 PhillipsSonicare toothbrushes to the side of the outlet cover. I kept revising it to accommodate more things needed for dental hygiene and mouth appliances. This replaces the the plate cover over the US GFCI outlet and secures with the same screws. The back is for support as well as to protect the wall from splashing if used for kids. I added some interchangeable upper support arms for the different type of toothbrushes that use the charger type HX6100 The holes used for the support arms are sized so that if supports are not needed they can be used to house a Waterpik tip instead. To top it off I then added a post that fits the hole the toothbrush squeezer made by Spidersky1489 so that the toothpaste can be included as well.Assembly:Drop in the chargers cord side first at a 45 degree angle. Push it back towards the center of the plate as you can and push down on the higher side to push the charger down into place.Make sure the cords are through the slots and collected in the middle of the pate prior to snapping on the cord wrap. Observe that the cord wrap is not symmetrical. The short tab with the small cut out is on the left side. Hook the right side of the cord wrap into the bottom tabs of the holder body and push up on the left side to snap it into place and lining up the cutouts. The right side has an angled lead in to assist with the assembly.Take the cord and wrap it around the cord wrap. Try to keep its flat as possible as it wraps around itself. Don't wrap the entire cord because you will need to push enough back through the center bottom of the wrap and body to be plugged in.To maintain the wrap tightness, use a small zip tie to secure the cord to the 2 rectangles removed in the either side of the support sides in the holder body.Turn off power to the outlet as a safety precaution. Remove screws from GFCI outlet plate and remove plate/cover. Mount the toothbrush holder over the GFCI outlet that you just removed and use the same screws to attach it over the outlet.Add which ever support arms desired or non at all and use the holes to hold something else.Pictures of holder printed with a .4 nozzle diameter @.2 layer height. I used white PLA+ for the body. Build time is about 16.5 hrs for the body and the cord wrap. Thanks so much for looking and I hope this can solve a problem. Happy printing.Toothpaste squeezer:https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/26897-toothpaste-squeezer
