Sonic printable in parts (almost) without support
thingiverse
I wanted to print the ChaosCoreTech's Sonic model in multiple colors using my Palette 2, but creating a complete multipart object was not possible. Instead, I decided to split it into parts with fewer colors and almost no support material required, printing each part at a detailed layer height on Canvas. This online multi-material slicer provided by Mosaic allowed me to achieve great results, especially with the spines printed at 0.1mm layer height. If you're a multimaterial maker looking for this model in its complete multicolor form, check out this alternative version available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4146072. Great job by DesignFlaw06 on creating that version, it's amazing to see how others are pushing the limits of what's possible with 3D printing!
