I designed a replacement for one of my broken wingtips and printed it in TPU, which should be incredibly durable and resistant to breakage. My print settings were carefully chosen to ensure a strong and stable result. Here's what I used: * 1.5 perimeters, alternating between 1 and 2 layers to create a solid foundation * 10% infill, using cubic patterns to maximize strength while minimizing material usage * The part was printed standing upright, with additional reinforcement added to prevent wobbling during the printing process * Support material is required due to the design's complex shape * A generous 6-layer brim was also applied to provide extra stability and prevent warping * I experimented with various print orientations before settling on this one, which produced the best results The finished product is surprisingly flexible while still being strong enough to withstand normal wear and tear.
