Game of Ropes (GoR) is an intricate series of models inspired by the ancient art of Shibari. While operating within an artistic context, these models contain mature material only suitable for viewers 18 and above. The images depict nudity and shibari-style positions that are Not Safe For Work (NSFW). If you're under the age of 18 or find nudity off-putting, it's best to steer clear of this series. Otherwise, feel free to enjoy. In Japanese, "Shibari" translates literally to "to tie". In modern usage, Shibari refers to an ancient Japanese art form that involves rope bondage. For a more in-depth explanation, refer to The Art of Contemporary Shibari. Based on the shibari posture known as "dragonfly sleeves", this model draws inspiration from Marcus J. Ranum's captivating photography. You can also explore a 360-degree video showcasing the model's intricacies. As per standard procedure, this model can be printed without support structures, using settings such as 0.15 to 0.2mm layer height, 2 or 3 perimeters (0.8 to 1 mm thickness), and 10-15% infill. My personal recommendation is to print with a 0.15mm layer height, 3 perimeters, and 15% infill. When printing with a filament printer, you can scale down the model by 80%, using a 0.15mm layer height. To achieve this, utilize the "scaledown" version of the model, which incorporates reinforcements to stabilize the legs during printing (these can be removed after printing). However, please note that scaling smaller than 80% has not been thoroughly tested. If you prefer to print at the original scale or larger, use the "scaleup" version without any reinforcements.
