What is this?This is a boom arm / boom microphone holder for Songmics standing desks.It's designed for el-chapo boom arms that can be found everywhere.It fits pre-cut cable pass-trough hole.What is needed?Parts:6202 ZZ SKF 2Z 15X35X11" bearing.5x M3*30 screws and double the nutsWhat is centering ring for?Bearing is not enough to keep the boom for wobbling or sagging, it also prevents boom from free movement (yeah, bearing alone worked too good).It is designed as wearable part, can be replaced if it wears out.About the cableThose cheap boom arms have hollow shaft so you can put your cable through.The problem is, it's very narrow.My microphone needs usb to usb-b cable. I approached this by cutting cable in half, guiding it through the shaft, and re-soldering it.
