SONASHI ELECTRIC FAN BODY
thingiverse
The plastic body of my 8 year old electric fan has become brittle and is cracking. We could not find replacement parts in our place or online so my wife wanted to throw it away. I felt its a waste to dispose it as all the other parts are still good and it is remote controlled. So I designed and 3D printed its body. I designed it in 3 sections to fit my printer bed: the head, main body (middle section), and the base. Each section has a front case & a back cover. 6 parts total. I used 8pcs total of M4x15-20mm bolts & nuts to connect the 3 sections. I used the stock screws from the fan for the back covers and the PCB inside the main body. Some soldering required to insert the wires through the body (electric fan housing) to the PCB.
