Son of the Harpy Mask

The Sons of the Harpy were an underground resistance group fighting against Daenerys Targaryen's rule in Meereen, consisting of former slave owners. They took their name from the harpy, a traditional heraldic symbol of slave masters in Ghiscari cities of Slaver's Bay and the Ghiscari Empire before them. They concealed their identities by wearing golden masks with horned faces resembling harpies. Using the source file, I enlarged it, and printed in two separate pieces. I had created a design on it using Blender. The small figure I'm holding is from here: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/sons-of-the-harpy-mask-game-of-thrones-7882. This was my inspiration. The background is from the fighting pits in Meereen as Jorah throws his spear to save Daenerys. Print Settings: Printer: P208M i3 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: .25 Infill: 10 Notes: 2 pieces Post-Printing I attached the two pieces together with a filament and a soldering iron. It was extremely strong. Then I added several coats of liquid gesso, sanded it, and smoothed out any mismatch. I was surprised that PLA warps since most small parts I make are very precise. I painted the front white, then metallic copper. I used brown acrylic paint to age it. The indigo cloth was attached with leather strips.
