To rectify this issue, the model underwent extensive reduction using MeshLab and Netfabb to repair the STL file, ultimately landing at a manageable 25,000 polygons. This optimized version should now slice through in under six minutes, making it a far more feasible project for hobbyists and enthusiasts alike.
