I tested the micro drone propeller using the **Somers S102 Blunt** airfoil coordinates, which were designed specifically for this project. I constructed a testing rig using the **Drone Propeller Thrust Testing Jig**, and the results are detailed below. The propeller was printed slowly with the aid of a **0.2mm extruder nozzle** at 0.04mm height per layer, taking extra care to ensure a smooth finish. To remove any burrs or imperfections, I used an **X-ACTO Knife**, carefully deburring and cleaning the print. Next, I sanded the propeller with a piece of **500 grit sandpaper**, working methodically to achieve a high level of polish. The thrust readings for various voltage presets are listed below, along with images taken during the test: * **1.5V** produced a thrust reading of **11.03 grams** * **2V** resulted in a thrust reading of **15.35 grams** * **2.5V** generated a thrust reading of **26.96 grams** * **3V** produced a thrust reading of **34.45 grams** The accompanying files include all the pictures taken during the test, as well as six text files containing the airfoil coordinates used in the build, STL files, and SLDPRT files. If you'd like to experiment with the propeller, consider acquiring a few **8520 coreless motors**. To make modifications to the drone propeller, use the SLDPRT extension files, which provide a flexible framework for customization.
