Some Globes (Earth + Vesta)

These are some globes I created as desk toys. They're models of Earth and the asteroid Vesta, respectively. Neither one is accurate to scale, and the surface details aren't realistic on either model. I printed mine at six times the actual size, but different scales could be really fun. Post-Printing The joiner piece helps you align the two halves of the globe perfectly. The pivot/base comes in three separate pieces to make it easier to print. I suggest assembling the globe first, then inserting each half of the pivot separately before gluing the two pivot halves together.
