Somber Mask
thingiverse
Here's my Halloween mask, designed from scratch with African and Polynesian flair. Feel free to give it a try - just follow the instructions below. You'll need some straps or string, which I've provided convenient attachment points for. Don't forget to secure the plastic bar using superglue; attach it behind the mask near the top, where there's a special spot for it. This design may seem unconventional, but trust me, it's necessary - if I had connected those pieces differently, removing support material from a specific area would be impossible. This Halloween mask is not just a great costume piece, but also a unique display item that can add some spooky flair to any room. Stay tuned for updates, as I plan to make future versions more elaborate and user-friendly. I experimented with g-code techniques on the black piece, creating a tar-like texture that's simply terrifying. To preserve this effect, I opted not to paint it; instead, I may try my hand at blending colors in Blender - maybe red and blue will be the perfect scheme. I'd love to see your own color ideas! This mask is over-engineered for durability, so you can stomp on it without worrying about breaking it (just don't do that while it's on someone's face, okay?).
