This is my sixteenth entry for the 30 Characters Challenge. Each day in November I'll be designing and posting a new model - though the prints may take a little longer, depending on how quickly I get to it. Every character is randomly generated using the Continuum Narrative Engine (a storytelling game system currently being developed here at Ill Gotten Games headquarters). As soon as the rest are printed, they will be posted here - but for now you can follow my WIP models at...http://www.30characters.com/author/dutch-mogul/\r\nNAME: Resolver (Unit H-42A) SPECIES: Model-8 Android ORIGIN: Innovation (Circle-Tech HQ)\r\nOne of a secretly produced run of intelligent robots built from plans stolen from the late Dr. Harlan Smythe, Unit H42-A was given to Julia Calixa, heiress to the Calixa fortune and major Circle-Tech shareholder. Though designed as a companion unit, Julia found many uses for the android - nicknaming him 'Resolver' due to his talent for rapid-learning that resulted in the acquisition of numerous useful skills, including the operation and repair of Julia's Brane-Ship, the Castellan. As her mistress's feelings for him grew stronger, so did Resolver's bond and desire to protect her. Against Circle-Tech's advice, Julia had many of Resolver's control systems removed, leaving only the protocol that binds him to her service - adding a caveat that the program will deactivate in the event of her death, allowing Resolver to walk his own path.\r\nModel designed in Sculptris and TinkerCAD, printed on my Makerbot Replicator and painted with water-based acrylics.\r\nhttps://tinkercad.com/things/5f0a3v9mfN-resolver-android-courtesan-30characterschallenge
