Create a device for a class project, inspired by overdrinking issues in fraternities. The device, called a 'shot cutter', solves the problem of imprecise eyeballing of shots by accurately cutting standard Solo Cups at the appropriate shot level. A video demonstration is available. Assemble the components using provided instructions and tools such as a hobby knife and fasteners in various lengths. The device consists of a shaft, upper and lower coupling, knife holders, top cap, stem, and knob. Place the .2" rod through the upper coupling and secure with the top cap. Attach the knife holder to the end of the rod, ensuring that turning the stem clockwise activates the cutting mechanism. Place the device in a Solo Cup, turn the knob to cut, then enjoy a precisely measured shot.
