solo cup parts washer
thingiverse
I just noticed that the "small parts strainer" (when printing parts separately) requires a simple rotation of 180 degrees, so the flat side is facing downwards before printing. If I needed a small parts washer, I would have come up with this innovative solution. I use penetrating lube and, fortunately, I've had no issues whatsoever with the PLA after almost two weeks of soaking. The holes in the basket are precisely 8mm, but there's also an insert with 1.5mm holes for utilizing smaller parts. I printed one set at 100% infill and another at 20%, and I'm happy to report that I've had no issues with either.
