I've discoverded that both my Solis Typ 166 and Severin KM3873 conical grinders share the same type of plastic gear. Severin's motor is more powerful and grinds faster than Solis and this maskes its gear more prone to wear. I have learned this fact after a long continous grind resulted the loss of this gear.
