In 2014, SolidWorks introduced the capability to customize Weldment Profiles, which was my suggestion. This feature helped me generate a lumber library swiftly with the assistance of a design table. You can add this single SLDLFP to a "Lumber" folder in your Weldment Profiles directory (accessible via System Options > File Locations > Weldment Profiles) for use in your projects.
