Solidworks CAM Marlin Post Processor

Solidworks CAM Marlin Post Processor

I've worked on this post processor for Solidworks for people who have an MPCNC, or any other 3D printed CNC machine, and want to use Marlin. The best feature is that you don't need to find your vendor and become their junkie. Canned Cycles unraveled are G73 (High Speed Pecking), G81 (Drilling), G83 (Pecking), and G83 (Variable Pecking) with G98/G99. Variable Pecking is just an alias back to normal pecking since only the HAAS does it, and I found nothing in Solidworks that allowed me to input the I,J,K values, even for HAAS Post Processors. This is a work in progress, and I need operators to work with it and tell me what's flaky or some other oddities. You'll need a Marlin-based CNC controller as well as Solidworks 2018 or higher (when they brought in Camworks and the CAM section became available for free) OR Camworks I believe. This has the feature that you need to set up your safe space for your router to sit for tool changes, as the gcode produced will move the router there and wait for you to change the tool out; then press the continue menu option. You also need to tell Marlin your max settings, and it will start the gcode file with those values. The above is set via the Machine->Posting tab as shown in the picture. **January 13, 2020 - New version is up. January 13, 2020 - Removed Tool Ending Position as I'm tired of fighting Solidworks over it. January 13, 2020 - Fixed the Safe Space for the tool input and removed a line of debug code I was generating.
