Sample Part Drawing for Beginners in Solidworks First, you need to create a new part drawing in Solidworks. This can be done by going to the "File" menu and selecting "New" then "Part". Once you have created a new part, you can start designing your sample part. To begin with, let's create a simple box. To do this, click on the "Sketch" tab and select the "Rectangle" tool. Draw a rectangle on the drawing sheet, making sure it is large enough to accommodate all of the features we will be adding later. Next, go back to the "Part" tab and select the "Extrude" tool. This will allow you to extrude the 2D sketch into a 3D part. Click and drag on the drawing sheet to create an extrusion, making sure it is the same size as the rectangle we drew earlier. Now that we have our base shape, let's add some features to make it more interesting. To do this, go back to the "Sketch" tab and select the "Circle" tool. Draw a circle on the drawing sheet, then use the "Revolve" tool to create a cylindrical feature. To add a hole to our part, go back to the "Sketch" tab and select the "Circle" tool again. Draw a circle inside the cylinder we just created, then use the "Drill" tool to create a hole. Finally, let's add some text to our drawing to identify it as a sample part. To do this, go back to the "Part" tab and select the "Text" tool. Type in the name of your part, making sure it is centered and easy to read. And that's it! You now have a complete sample part drawing for beginners in Solidworks. With these basic steps, you can create all sorts of parts and assemblies using this powerful CAD software.
