In this section, you can replace the original Solidoodle hot end with a 16mm PEEK-based RepRap mk4 hot end or any other equivalent part. To ensure a snug fit, some sanding may be necessary on the 16mm hole. This modification was done to prevent play between components; however, further refinements could enhance the design. Note that one side has a corner cut, which should face the front right of your printer.
