Solidoodle Extruder Lasercut Spare Parts
thingiverse
We encountered an issue with our Solidoodle Extruder as two laser-cut components broke, so purchasing a new print head seemed wasteful. To resolve this, we digitized the extruder's laser-cut parts and reproduced the necessary ones. To repair it, follow these steps: 1) Load 3mm acrylic glass into your laser cutter; 2) Cut the needed parts; 3) Assemble the print head with new components; 4) Resume printing. Note that our laser-cut parts may not be a perfect match to the original, but they still function well. The motor mount screw holes were sourced from a technical blueprint for optimal fitment.
