I use and love the Spool Holder Mk2 by gsterley, but I also needed a cable guide that lets them coexist without conflicts. Included is an openSCAD script to precisely remove just enough material for harmony. Print vertically with support material. I used a brim because it might have popped off the platform without one. You have to carefully take out the inner plate from the MK2 spool holder, install the cable guide, then re-install the plate securely. In this case, securing the cable guide nicely proved to be a clever move after all!
