Solidoodle Electronics Cover
thingiverse
An electronics case featuring durability and ability to handle impacts is designed to accommodate two 30mm fans for cooling purposes. The print may be challenging on Solidoodle due to its large size, making corners prone to lifting; thus, re-leveling the bed, controlling temperature precisely, and using hairspray is highly recommended. Print settings include 110% extrusion width in Slic3r, three perimeters for speedy infill and strong walls, with fill at 0.05 for robustness. The case includes four holes for 1/4x1/4 inch cylinder magnets and two slots for 30x30x6mm fans. Trimming the case slightly may be needed to fit the fans as it's a tight fit. Fans are wired together with a connector, which is added to power in terminals for electronics, causing fans to turn on whenever power is supplied.
