Cables have a tendency to sprawl across work surfaces, hindering progress in the process. Meanwhile, X motor reaches extremely high temperatures. This cable guide keeps cables well off the work surface. A 40mmx12mm fan snaps into place from below within the shroud, which in turn snaps onto X-motor. You can secure it with a cable tie if necessary, but mine didn't require one. The .STL file contains 16 links for the cable chain, though you will likely only need 12-13, so there are a couple extras. The endpoint attaches to electronics cover with a screw or you can simply drill a hole and use a cable tie. The original .RSDOC (DesignSpark Mechanical) file is included so modifications can be made if necessary. You'll need to turn the motor 180 degrees for the cable to come out on the opposite side. Be aware that stock cable may not be long enough, so you might need to splice on some extra length. Work pops right off when the plate cools.
