I used the OE extruder housing to attach the E3D extruder after determining the incorrectly printed part didn't meet my specific requirements. It also relocates the CG closer to the central axis. The duct can accommodate a 40mm fan, regardless of depth selection. NOTE: Prior to upgrading, ensure that you print and install the endstop for the X-axis in conjunction with this upgrade. Update: Upon further review, I need to add an additional design or axis bolt holes to provide greater stability for securing the duct. This enhancement is recommended for increased rigidity while still yielding optimal results. To follow the manufacturer's instructions accurately: - Consider printing the OE extruder housing using a material that has a higher glass transition temperature such as nylon, PET+, or PETG. Since I don't possess specific information regarding these materials and their properties, it is essential to conduct further research prior to proceeding. - Using ABS could provide satisfactory results, although it may require adjustment according to individual specifications and the intended use of the item.
