Solidoodle 3 Enclosure
thingiverse
To construct an enclosure for the Solidoodle 3, utilize 0.08" thickness acrylic sheets. The design also fits the SD 2. This is my first Thingi; I released it prior to testing because my printer isn't here yet and I wanted more knowledgeable individuals to view my work. Assemble the enclosure using 12 side clip objects, 4 top-bottom objects, 2 top clips, and two rear clips. Additionally, print a spool holder. To assemble, attach the acrylic sheets with #4 screws after drilling holes using parts as a guide. Seal the enclosure with silicone for a secure fit, let it cure, and finally, attach the spool holder to the rear clip. For added stability, use 1" PVC rod.
