Solidoodle 3 E3D Drop-In
thingiverse
Simple E3D Hotend drop in that requires no extra screws or parts! I'll add photos later and a step-by-step guide. (Temp. Guide - Feel Free to ask questions!) In order to use this adapter, you need to take the old hotend and the block it is attached to off of the carriage. Next, you'll want to put the E3D hotend in between the two half-blocks and then assemble it back onto the carriage. (The two half-blocks and hotend go in exactly the way the old hotend was installed and do not require any extra parts.) As you tighten the screws, the blocks will compress around the hotend and keep it very secure. *Update* 1. Added Reinforced variant for longer lifespan and higher strength!)
