This is your complete kit to convert the Solidoodle 2 (may also work on other solidoodles) into an E3D version 6 hot end using a bowden feed design. If your extruder motor assembly remains intact, you won't need to print the extruder_motor_jigsaw part. The funnel will fit directly into place. This upgrade replaces a portion of the x-axis carriage and feed system. You'll also require 4mm OD 2mm ID teflon tubing and a Push in to Connect Pneumatic Straight Fitting measuring 1/8" PT by 5/32", both of which are available on Amazon. With this setup, our printer is capable of printing with abs, pla, t-glase, nylon, and ninja flex (ninja flex required a slight adjustment due to popping out of the extruder motor gears).
