Solid Voyager PADD for Printing in Miniature
thingiverse
After trying (with some limited success) to print UnimatrixRed's PADD design in 1:6 scale, I decided it would be easier to assemble it digitally and print a solid version. So, this is a remix that essentially does that. Designed for printing in scale for use with miniature scenes, dolls, and dollhouses. As far as I can find, these PADDs on the show are roughly 4x6. The file I built is scaled for 1:6 scale. It can be adjusted as needed and should still print well down to 1:12 scale at least, possibly lower with the right supports and a good resolution printer. The piece is solid and fully assembled with all of it's buttons and LEDs already in place. The voids for the connector pins have been filled. I recommend printing these with a resin printer for the best results. After cleaning and support removal they can be prepped, primed, and painted as any other miniature. I'm using a mixture of silver spray paint from a can, a 0000 brush for the details, and a dotting tool made from a pin for the LEDs. Once I've finished one I'll add a photo.
