Solid State Relay Hang Bracket - A8 - I3 Clone Printer
thingiverse
Bracket is designed to fit snugly above the power supply, requiring no screws to secure it in place. Instead, it clips effortlessly onto the side and slides down into position, utilizing the shape of the side support to hold it firmly against the printer. The screw heads are counter-sunk for added stability. Behind the relay, an air channel is thoughtfully designed to facilitate heat dissipation, ensuring reliable performance even during extended print sessions of up to two hours without any issues arising. In the event of overheating, the SSR can be easily flipped, with the internal heat sink (a metal component) facing outward for optimal cooling. Alternatively, in extreme cases, the factory heat sink can also be added for added protection. This convenient mounting location allows the SSRs to be effortlessly connected to the power supply, eliminating any potential complications. Both the hot end and bed wires were able to reach their designated locations without issue, ensuring seamless integration into the printer's overall design. I conceptualized this bracket as a practical solution to holding the SSRs in place on my printer. The design is block-like in shape, with a vertical mount cut out for added versatility.
