Solid ESC Cover
thingiverse
This is a basic ESC cover I designed for use with most ESCs sized alike DYS XM20, and it can be scaled for different sizes but this one is sized for the standard 5x14x32mm. It's designed to shield zip ties from propstrikes and stay put even if both are broken. Tighter zip ties tighten the cover, and they also isolate the ESC from carbon arms to eliminate shorting when you don't use heatshrink. I print with SainSmart TPU using no supports, vertically at 210c with a speed of 45mm/s and a bed temperature of 70c. You're free to print it yourself or personalize it however you want, but please don't sell it. Printer Settings: Brand: FlashForge Model: Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: Any Notes: I use a brim when printing with a very little contact on the bed, which helps adhesion. Your mileage may vary. Post-printing tips are not provided as they're specific to individual users and their printing conditions.
