Solid 2020/Tronxy X3 Spool Holder
thingiverse
I needed a sturdy spool holder for my 3D printing project, so I decided to build one from scratch. The original acrylic holder was hogging too much space on my workbench, which was a major motivation behind designing this new one. To get started, you'll need the following parts: * M3 x 12mm screws - 2 * M4 x 8mm screws - 4 * M3 nuts - 2 * M4 nuts - 2 * M4 T-nuts - 2 First, attach the pole to the top of the shaft using the bracket and M3 nuts and screws. Next, slide the M4 nuts into place on the base of the shaft. It's a snug fit, but that was intentional to prevent slipping. Once you've got that sorted, screw the brackets into the base and onto the back right corner of your Tronxy X3/X3A printer, and you're all set!
