I ordered some solenoid valves for work and was left with pigtails, but no cable entry - a problem that needed fixing! Luckily, my trusty 3D printer came to the rescue. While it's unlikely you'll encounter the exact same solenoid valve I did, I'm sharing this anyway. Take note of how the backup nut for the plastic cable gland fits snugly within the hexagonal space. Once assembled, the entire setup proves remarkably sturdy and rigid. In fact, this assembly has been put to the test in harsh outdoor conditions for several months now, with zero issues reported so far.
