Soleil Royal 1:80
thingiverse
The Soleil Royal, a majestic French warship, dominated the seas as a formidable 104-gun vessel, proudly serving as Admiral Tourville's trusted flagship. Constructed between 1668 and 1670 by master engineer Laurent Hubac in Brest, France, this magnificent ship was finally launched into the water in 1669. Despite its grandeur, it remained anchored in Brest harbour for an extended period, awaiting its call to action. When the Nine Years' War erupted in 1688, the Soleil Royal was recommissioned with a formidable arsenal of 112 guns and a crew of 1200 seasoned sailors, preparing it to take on the West's most daring foes as the flagship of the escadre du Ponant squadron.
