Soldering workplace - magnetic holders and baseplate design

Soldering Workplace I was inspired to create a more efficient soldering setup after seeing my neighbor's solution, but I noticed some flaws and wanted to improve upon it. PCB Holders To provide better options for holding PCBs while soldering, I designed the holders with grooves for flat, straight boards at 90° and two 45° grooves for easier access to the bottom side. Bowls for SMD Parts Having a fixed place for small components can be useful, so I included bowls for SMD parts in the design. Spool Holder I aimed to create a sturdy and scalable spool holder that is simple yet effective. The cones allow for a wide range of spool sizes to be centered perfectly between holders. Additional cones can be easily added to extend the holder's capacity, making it suitable for multiple solder spools or wire spools. Magnetic Base I selected two types of magnets for the parts: Ø10x4mm rounded neodymium magnets with a magnetic force of 2.1kg each and Ø20x1mm magnets for the SMD bowls, which come with 3M tape attached. Steel Base Plate After considering using a komaxit-coated steel sheet, I opted for laser-cut stainless steel instead due to its lower cost and easier availability in smaller sizes. Possible Improvements Potential upgrades include adding spacers to the PCB holder or creating an adjustable system. I'm also considering designing an articulating LED lamp with a 3D printed magnetic base and integrating electronics within. A simple fume extractor with a carbon filter and magnetic base is another idea I'd like to explore. Print Settings I used a Zortrax M200 printer with the following settings: supports enabled, with no specific notes or recommendations provided by me as the designer was printed by my colleague.
