I created this to replace the damp sponge holder that came with my new soldering station, the X-Tronic model 6040. Use it with a standard copper or brass scouring pad. The slim wall design demands complete fill with supports for the lid. Drill two holes in the mounting surface and secure with wood screws from underneath.
