Soldering station "Maiskolben" from German C't MAKE magazine
thingiverse
This is a housing for my project from the German Make magazine, featuring a soldering station called "Maiskolben". The case fits the white PCB perfectly. I powered the fume extractor from the station via a 12V cable and added a switch and an LED to control it. For the soldering iron, I use a 12mm aluminum tube that I found at my local hardware store. Everything can be printed without support, but you need to **turn the case so that the front lies flat on the print bed**. I attached magnets to the fume extractor and the soldering station. They sit together with my magnetic third hand on a piece of metal.
