Soldering Station Enclosure

Soldering Station Enclosure

I crafted this enclosure specifically for my T12 style cartridge soldering iron, striving to minimize its size while maximizing functionality. The internal dimensions are a compact 82mm wide, 134mm long, and 70mm tall. This allows for seamless integration of a rotary encoder module, a 128x64 oled display, and a Hirose RPC1-12RB-6P soldering iron connector on the front panel. In contrast, the rear features an IEC fused and switched design with screw holes for secure mounting. A side note: be cautious when installing the 128x64 OLED displays as they are prone to cracking if over-tightened. I've since modified my design to prevent excessive force from being applied to the glass, but this revision remains untested. If you choose to print this enclosure, exercise care during assembly to avoid damaging the display.
