Soldering Station
thingiverse
To keep my collection of soldering tools and accessories organized, I've created a modular system that can be easily swapped out with my "Desktop Organizer". This allows me to quickly switch between different configurations. The heat gun holder is designed specifically for heat pens like the one found here - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000288647467.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.68d14c4dqSr314. This holder provides a secure and stable place to store my heat pen when not in use. The soldering iron stand is designed for irons like the JCD 908S, which can be found here - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000290304598.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dxabLh4. The spring guard has a 0.625 OD but is not necessary for the iron to be securely held in place. The solder holder features a hole in the center that fits a 3D printer Teflon tube, allowing me to push the tube through and guide solder wire directly into it. This makes it easy to work with solder without having to worry about it getting tangled or stuck. On December 20th, 2020, I added a modified heat pen stand designed for bigger heat guns, as well as a modified soldering iron stand that requires additional support when printing.
