**3D-Printable Soldering Iron Tip Cleaning Mesh Holder** ============================================ **General information and model dimension specifications:** This design is to be used to hold soldering iron tip cleaning mesh, fits most readily available mesh balls/packs from Amazon or other retailers and can be printed without supports. The model was designed using Fusion 360 and dimesionally has a maxium width of 70mm (2.76 in), height of 70mm (2.76 in) and has been shelled so that all the walled sections are uniformly 2mm (0.08 in) thick. The entrance for soldering iron tips has a maximum height of 67.07mm (2.64 in) and maximum width of 22.52mm (0.89 in). **Printing Instructions:** This model was designed to be printed with a rigid material. In respect to slicer settings, it is reccomended for best results to print with support settings/materials disabled, 100% infill and to use "lined" pattern in shell settings as bridging between edges will be neccessary to create to top section of the model. In respect to orientation, the model should be printed with the base flat against the bed. For reference, the example shown in the included photo image was: - Sliced in Cura 4.8.0 - Printed on an Ender 3 with bed heating turned on @ 70 degrees celcius - Printer using silver 1.75mm diameter PLA filament with hot end set @ 210 degrees celcius. - Layer height of 0.16mm and shell pattern set to lines. - Infill set to 100%. - Support material settings disabled. **Licence:** This model has been released under the Creative Commons - Attributive liscence so feel free to hare and remix to suit your needs.
