Soldering Iron Stand

#Soldering Iron Stand I designed and built this stand way back in 2015, but it has proven to be so convenient that I still use it every day. For the soldering iron holder, you'll want to use a stainless steel bar with a diameter of 3mm. This material is great because it has low thermal conductivity, which means it won't take away heat from the tip of the soldering iron. The stand itself is made of metal by milling at the factory, but if that's not an option for you, you can print one and use it carefully. A bending drawing is also available in the archive. ##Parts links below: Stainless steel bar - You can find this on eBay at http://ali.pub/3r2lqy or AliExpress at http://ali.pub/3r2ln2.
